Green Thumbs...

Thought you might enjoy a taste of the tropics! This is a hibiscus plant that I planted this spring. The flowers are as big as a dinner plate-8-10". Incredible! Also is a picture of Grady's beautiful garden. The Yellow wax green beans are producing like crazy- we really like them too. I've pulled out Grandma Beavers old canner to put away some of them. Our broccoli is waist high, beets as big as softballs. Grady battles daily with slaying the squash bugs. I hope he continues to win. So far squash bugs 2 plants- Grady 4. We look forward to all of you being here and enjoying the fresh produce. We also have lettuce, spinach and bell peppers- and an English cucumber- also Yukon gold potatoes. Next door at Grandma's the corn is tasseling out, tomatoes are green and the melons are blooming.
